“MY MOTHER’S LOVE”
My mother’s love is like a light,
Shining brightly in the night,
Gently guiding me,
Through the darkness and the strife.
It’s a love that’s strong and true,
It’s a love that’s always new,
It’s a love that will never die.
Her love is like a shield,
Protecting me from the world’s yield,
From the pain and the hurt,
From the hale and dirt.
I am blessed to have,
My mother’s love is foundation ,
My strength and my salvation,
It guides me in time of need,
It’s the rock I can lean on indeed.
My mother’s love is like a ray,
It shines through the darkest day,
Showing me the way,
To a better, brighter day.
And even though she’s we are far away,
I know her love is always near,
Watching over me, for eternity.
I carry her love in my heart,
Forever we never part,
For a mother’s love is unconditional.
